How do I import assets from Excel with leading zeros in their asset identification number (AIN)?

If you’re having trouble importing AINs with leading 0s, use the following technique:

1. Convert Excel to CSV using File -> Save As -> Format: CSV.
2. Highlight the column with AINs -> Right Click -> Format Cells -> Custom.
3. In ‘Type’, enter the number of 0s you’d like to have for the AINs.
4. Save, and import the CSV.
